We're a one-person shop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We collect the bare minimum we need to do good work for you, we never sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it whenever you want. Here are the details.
01Who we are
VeryClear Marketing is a sole proprietorship operated by Rustin Witt out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," that's who we mean. Our website is veryclearmarketing.com. You can reach us at hello@veryclearmarketing.com.
02What we collect
The only personal information we collect is what you give us — voluntarily — when you fill out the free-mockup form on our site:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your current website URL
- Your cell phone number (optional — only if you provide it)
We don't run analytics tools that track your behavior across the web. We don't use Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or similar tracking. The only third-party scripts on our site are Google Fonts (which loads typography) and the form connection to HubSpot (which receives your form submission).
03How we use your information
We use what you give us for exactly two things:
- To send you the free mockup you requested, usually within 24 hours of your submission.
- To follow up about that mockup — by email, phone, or text — to see if you'd like to move forward with a project.
That's it. We don't add you to a marketing newsletter, we don't run drip campaigns, and we don't share your contact info with anyone.
04Where your information lives
Your form submission is stored in HubSpot, our customer relationship management (CRM) tool. HubSpot is a US-based company that hosts your data on secure cloud infrastructure. You can read HubSpot's own privacy policy at legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.
Once you become a paying client, we may also store your information in tools like Google Workspace (for email and documents), Stripe or another payment processor (if applicable), and the website hosting platform we use to launch your site. We only use reputable, US-based services that meet standard data protection requirements.
05Cookies
Our website doesn't set any tracking cookies. Google Fonts may set a basic technical cookie when it loads our typography — that's not something we control. We don't use cookies to track you, profile you, or remarket to you.
06Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See what we have on file for you. We'll send you a copy.
- Correct anything that's wrong. Just tell us what to change.
- Delete your information. We'll remove it from our HubSpot account within 14 days. Some information may be retained briefly in backups, but won't be actively used.
- Stop hearing from us. Reply "stop" to any text, "unsubscribe" to any email, or just email us and ask. Done.
If you're a California, Colorado, Virginia, or Connecticut resident, you have specific rights under your state's privacy laws (CCPA, CPA, VCDPA, CTDPA). All of those rights are honored by simply emailing us at hello@veryclearmarketing.com with your request.
07How long we keep your info
If you become a client, we keep your information for as long as necessary to complete the project plus seven years for tax and accounting purposes (this is a US business requirement). If you submitted a free-mockup form but didn't become a client, we'll typically keep your info for up to two years in case you want to come back to it — but you can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
08Children
Our service is for businesses, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please email us and we'll delete it.
09Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For substantial changes, we'll email past clients to let them know. By continuing to use our website after changes are posted, you accept the updated policy.
